That’s where the pythons have survival advantage over the iguanas.
Not that they can survive the cold better, it’s that they don’t fall. They’re already on the ground.
They just need to stay off the roads, even if the roads do warm up quicker.
Edit to add: our newspapers were saying the same thing. 37 at 7AM.
As a native Miamian, if you see a python on the road, run it over. Twice.
