Remember when Congresswoman Maxine Waters challenged her followers to harass politicians and cabinet members in public?

Well, her people dutifully followed.

The media then did some Olympic gold medal level mental gymnastics to justify her call for the harassment of public officials.

The one thing that I don’t thing that neither her nor the media, nor anybody else on the Left thought was going to happen was that the normals – those of us who quietly go about our day, doing or job, paying our taxes, not engaging in hysterical politicking – were going to get sick of that shit fast.

Late last week, Senator Majority Leader “Cocaine” Mitch McConnell and his wife Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao went out for dinner.

A devoted Leftist decided to give the happy couple a piece of his unhinged mind.

“Oh yeah, why don’t you get out of here? Why don’t you leave our entire country,” said the diner

“They’re going to come for Social Security,” the diner continued before appearing to be approached by restaurant staff.

The woman who recorded the incident told TMZ the diner also slammed his fists on the couple’s table and threw out his food.

We saw similar things happen to Betsy DeVos, Sarah Sanders, and Ted Cruz.  This time something changed.

Diners confront Mitch McConnell at restaurant, get told to ‘leave him alone’ by others

As Chao argues with the protester, McConnell appears unperturbed and sips on a drink. But other diners begin yelling at the protester, telling him to “leave him alone” and making shoo-ing gestures.

“They’re going to come for Social Security,” he told the other diners, before appearing to be approached by staff.

Video of this was captured by a woman and sold to TMZ.

At previous restaurant confrontations the staff stood back and refused to engage.

So in this case both the staff and the patrons expressed a great deal of displeasure at this stunt, making the harasser leave and letting McConnell and Chao stay.

McConnell reportedly later thanked some of the supporters and shook their hands.

“The Leader and Sec. Chao enjoyed their meal in Louisville last night and they appreciate those who spoke up against incivility,” McConnell spokesman David Popp said in a statement. “They hope other patrons weren’t too inconvenienced by left-wing tantrums. As the Leader often says, the Senate will not be intimidated by the antics of far-left protestors.”

The normals are not going to stand for this anymore.

So far what we’ve seen is that these antics have been good at doing one thing: turning moderates into people who intend to vote Republican.

Seeing an on coming Red wave instead of a Blue wave, we can expect more and more of this type of stunt to happen.

The Left is pushing its luck.  The normals are going to do more than push back at the polls, they are going to push back against the idiots who stir up shit in restaurants and stores.

I’ve used this quote before “Crime will expand according to our willingness to put up with it.”

The normals are not willing to put up with it anymore.  If police or security or staff are going to let it slide out of political convenience, we will take matters into our own hands.

Right now, that’s yelling back at the harassers.  I have a feeling that if they up the ante we will too.

The next time a bunch of Antifa try and stop traffic, some normal in a pickup is going to show them what a brush guard is for.

The Left is rapidly overplaying its hand, what comes next will be interesting.

  1. There’s a video going around that depicts what I think is going on here. In the video, there’s a crowd watching a band (as I recall) and no one gets up to dance until the first person does. Once that first one stands up, a crowd does.

This is the first person standing up at a crowd. After all, these moe-rons are disturbing everyone in the restaurant, and all those people have the right to be left alone, too. When some of the crowd stands up and says “GTFO”, it’s going to mean a lot more of the people in the restaurant come to their defense, too.

    1. Stand up, tell the disruptors they are disturbing your meal, and politely, but loudly demand they be quiet and leave. Ask the staff to have the manager attend to the problem.

Encourage your fellow diners to stand up and support the victim too.

Politely, but firmly and loudly disrupt their disruptive behavior. If they escalate, loudly point out their behavior, visibly show you are a peacemaker by stepping back a step, and make them the aggressors. Put a chair in their way?

If the management is trying to eject or quiet the troublemakers, back up and support the managers actions.

If things go kinetic, make sure you are effective. Joints, feet, gonads and throats are good targets in any melee. Bottles, forks, chairs, other blunt objects like those oversized pepper grinders are good, anonymous improvised aids. Based on my waiter experience, the edge of a serving tray is a weapon too.
