In what appears to be yet another politically-motivated prosecution of a white police officer who lawfully defended himself from a violent, non-compliant black suspect, Grand Rapids Officer Christopher Schurr has been charged with second-degree murder over the April 4, 2022 shooting death of Patrick Lyoya, according to FOX News.

When I saw the videos back when they got released, I had the feeling this had the chance to be a political clown show and it seems I was right.
But the weather is different now. BLM not only does not have the same clout it had once, it is pretty much going downhill when it comes to reputation. Will it be protests and riots? You betcha ’cause free shopping is always accepted by the scum of the earth under the mantle of Social Justice.
White cop, dead black body, equals murder charge.
Black perp, dead white (or Asian or Hispanic) cop, equals mostly peaceful protest.
Didn’t they just clear a cop in Georgia for potting some lowlife when he grabbed away the taser and tried to shoot it at the cop?
Taser Wielding Rashard Brooks was killed in the Atlanta Wendy’s Parking lot two years ago.

Riots ensued. The cops were immediately fired and charged with murder and assault. The police were pulled back from the Wendys area, and the Gangster Disciples took over.

The officers still have not been cleared or charged. The special prosecutor says real soon now. The officers have been reinstated. The second anniversary of Brooks’ death is tomorrow.

It is the classic playbook of prosecutors in this new century. Wait weeks/months after the incident to charge the self-defender, even when plain evidence exists showing it’s a good shoot.
All politically motivated.
Following will be the prosecutors using lawfare to suppress evidence, shut down witnesses and get testimony stopped that will support the defense.
So much for the rule of law.
