The first she assumed she had a safe (echo chamber) audience. The second, she knew the audience was larger.
It’s sad, but true. 60 years ago, the sight of a black man getting ahead by hard work and entrepreneurship drove Democrats into a hate frenzy. The Democrats had a rigidly designed caste system for them, and there they were supposed to stay.
