This was the most important thing said in that room at this hearing or in general for quite a while.
America is still the land of opportunity, where people from around the world come to try and become successful when held back by the prejudices on their home lands.
This, more than anything else is what the Left hates. They want us to be more like the Old World.
This testimony is exactly why America should stay America and not be turned into some EU knockoff where the circumstances of your birth defines your entire life.
This is especially true since NONE of us got to choose our parents or life circumstances, which is a FACT that continues to elude the would be elites among us.

I heard another snippet from her testimony this evening that’s worth examining. She said that Putin’s goal was to destabilize the presidency (independent of who won) and to create chaos in the US.
I observe that, for the past 3 years, the Democrats have been marching in lockstep with Putin on those goals. Whether that is because they are “useful idiots” or because they are “fellow travelers” remains to be seen. And marching right along with them are what the WSJ so nicely termed “the Resistance Media”. We know some of them — like the NYT — are and have been for the better part of a century fellow travelers.
