This shit wouldn’t happen in a state like Florida or Texas.

He might get away with it once or twice but eventually he’ll roll snakeeyes and attack a driver with a concealed carry permit and anyone who has ever seen the gene played knows that gun beats pipe.

In a stand your ground state, the cops would take one look at the dashcam video of that guy exiting his car with a pipe in hand and would let the guy who shot him in self defense go.

If it happened in Polk County, Sheriff Grady Judd would make fun of his dead stupid ass during a press conference.

The only people protected by restrictions on concealed carry are criminals like this.

  1. In IN, castle doctrine applies to occupied vehicles. You attack a car with a person in it, same as attacking a home. Game on…

    1. Mine save my ass when I hit a pickup in the ass. His insurance saw what he did, no questions asked “just take it to where you want yours fixed and send us the bill.”

  2. The last driver had the right idea. She both had the deadlier weapon and a means of escape. Shame he kept his feet when she bumped him out of the way, though.

  3. OK, WTF? Is this A-hole driving around creating road rage situations?

I was thinking the last thing in the world I want is a dash cam, but I am re-thinking that now that I see idiots like this out there.

    1. Yeah … Low (but apparently increasing) probability event, but possible high consequence if you don’t have proof you’re in the right. A dashcam seems like a pretty low cost way to mitigate that risk.

Of course, this means you do need to be in the right so your own dashcam doesn’t provide evidence against you. 🙂

  4. I watched an idiot do this shit in Alabama years ago, the idiot got back in his pickup when the intended victim opened his door and aimed the pistol through the opening.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
