They do not hate the rifle.
They hate the fact that people other than the government can possess the rifle.
It’s hard for me to see political dissidents in the United States being lined up against a wall and shot with M16/M4 rifles.
Of course we will be seeing it in less than two years. Just think, by 2025 the M-16 platform will have been used to murder more United States citizens by the United States government than the total amount of people murdered by the AK-47 in its entire existence worldwide in all conflicts. Including all the people that if Soviet union murdered in the Soviet union. I don’t think the AK-47 has been used to kill 100 million people let alone the 300 million that the Democrats actually want to achieve.
