I have been informed that this is not happening,,,,,damn it! I thought the ban was lifted. Sad faces

The Korean Times reports that new legislation passed by the U.S. has cleared the way for these guns to be imported into the United States via third party importers such as CAI. And here’s the kicker: they’re going to be sold as low as $220.

I do hope it is true, but I won’t hold my breath. And no, you won’t get an M1 at Mosin-Nagant prices if it does, the amount of people who want one will surely shoot up the prices somewhere around M4 levels.

And it sucks that they won’t allow the M1 Carbines back in country. Now that I wouldn’t mind having.

  1. This has been refuted/debunked.
Remember the EO banning the imports? that’s still in effect.

“A blog post making the rounds on social media right now suggests that there are 86,000 M1 Garand rifles soon to be imported from Korea.

I try not to take a negative tone here, but that blog post is wrong on several points. Please stop perpetuating rumors about the importation of Garands from Korea.”

I wanted it to be true, too. I’d love to collect these like I’m doing with Mosins.

  2. And here I had gone and got all excited. D^mn it.

I had even told the wife that this was going to be happening.
