A quick follow up about being trespassed at Home Depot and me reaching out to HQ/.

After I contacted them again via Facebook the next day, I got a canned reply and silence ever since. Since then, I have been twice to Lowe’s and just today to my favorite Home Depot in neither place a made fuzz was made about wearing masks.
Still a lot of people wearing the Fauci Diapers out there, so it is your responsibility to go into places with a free face and pride beaming from your aura to make people realize they are just going being inertially silly.
Almost half of Floridians are vaccinated with one or both doses and the last 7 days we had 10 or less daily deaths related to the Chin-Flu. And from what I have seen in Social Media, Fear Porn is losing its luster rapidly.
About time.
Not surprised sadly. I’d be willing to go dollar’s to donuts that the store didn’t do any due diligence on reporting the issue on their end.
In response to stores taking down their big mask required banners there are a bunch here wearing double or triple masks. If they can handle that as summer kicks in more power to em.
Wait until the fall. The cases and deaths will start to rise again, summer will be forgotten and the full court press for vaccinations and masks will hit again.
This is just what airborne viruses do: they start rising in the late fall, peak in the depths of winter and then die out again in summer. This isn’t rocket science, it’s been going on for thousands of years…and I’d be willing to bet this virus would have done the same thing, vaccine or no vaccine (or masking, or lockdowns, or etc etc etc).
This particular virus, being unable to mutate fast enough or drastically enough, is going to die out. Enough people are immune now that the peak this winter will be much smaller than last winter (but don’t think that will prevent the doomsayers from proclaiming disaster and insisting that we all submit to their will) and by next winter, it will be pretty much gone.
That is unless something drastic changes. If the virus does mutate significantly, there could be another big wave, and the vaccinations won’t help. In fact, if some of the scientists I’ve heard talking are correct, a mutation that is significant enough to trigger a significant immune response, but not different enough to be seen by antibodies as a different disease, could cause all the mRNA vaccine recipient’s bodies to basically go crazy attacking themselves…because they’ll have spike proteins all through their bodies that the immune system will see as the enemy they are fighting.
This is what has happened in the past with mRNA vaccine testing. The difference this time is that over half the population has had the vaccine. It could be devastating.
Anyway, let’s just hope that doesn’t happen and this “pandemic” follows the path of past ones…we’ll have another weak “spike” this winter and then it will be over with and the doomsayers can move on to the next horrible, terrible thing that’s going to kill us all.
Maybe it will be peas. I’d be OK with that. I hate peas.
My basic philosophy has been, even before I was vaccinated, to go into stores like Home Depot, Sam’s Club. Albertsons, etc. maskless. Even if they had signs posted “Masks Required to Enter.” My plan was, if I got challenged, I’d either quietly leave or if I really needed something they had, I’d mask up for the duration. No one questioned me or made me mask up except one store that had someone stationed outside providing disposable masks. Either most stores didn’t really care, or they didn’t want to challenge the fat old guy in a wheelchair. God, I love Idaho.
Not sure where you’re getting your stats but Florida has been logging 50+ deaths a day for the past several days with 2500 to 3000+ new cases each day.

As of posting, they only had those numbers. They add as the Death Certificates are made available and that has been under 20 daily since 5/14.

And I think we can agree by now that “new cases” is pretty much an irrelevant measure.
Yup they droppin like flys there……. I AM surprised you didnt hear from HD as I said I work for them and they are aeesome. Prob manager didnt go any further. Also associates have been told DO NOT confront anyone about masks…
Home Depot here in Ohio — only a few mask wearers, and most of them were wearing them chin-diaper style. Staples was posted “mask recommended” — whatever that means.
Kroger was maskless; I saw a couple employees and a few customers with masks, but mostly it was just like old times.
