RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Capitol Police estimate about 22,000 people were downtown Monday for the Gun Rights Rally. From drums to chants, more than 6,000 people filled Capitol Square all wanting to make their voices heard.

‘The Second Amendment is a God-given right’: Thousands from across US make their voices heard in Richmond

I wonder how many people come to Liberal rallies like that: Cold day, paying from their pwn food, drinks and transportation, ready to be vilified in the news and social media.

If the Virginia legislators are not listening…

  1. It sure looked like more on the ground. The count for the poor folks inside the cattle pens was probably accurate but it sure looked like more spread over 6 blocks. Even if that is an accurate estimate you are right, the leftist crowds aren’t likely to be that big on an even mildly cool day if they have to pay their own way and fight the media battle.

  2. They don’t care. In fact I would not be surprised if they use facial recognition software to identify all 22,000 so WHEN the government, state or federal makes all guns illegal and makes gun ownership punishable by death to make a special list where they are the first to be killed. And if they cannot be found kill there spouses and children.

Make NO mistake. The Virginia democrats hate them and WANTED to KILL every single solitary person there. If they had the power that rally would have been stopped, all the ralliers detained and then executed. Every single one of them. And while they’re at it make all gun ownership punishable by immediate execution and permanently suspend all elections in the state and execute every Republican member of the house and senate. After all the courts would back them up. And the House of Representatives would stop Trump from stopping it.

  3. Just assuming a quarter of the attendees were carrying rifles and/or side arms, that’s 5500 armed citizens occupying the state capitol (temporarily, politely, and cleaning up as they left). A regiment no less… The VA army national guard is approx 7500….

  4. “If the Virginia legislators are not listening…”

They are not. It was the same with the rally in NY after the SAFE Act was passed, and for that one roughly 10,000 gun owners showed up. The response from the liberal legislators? Mockery. I’ve already seen dismissive, smug statements from Virginia legislators saying that this rally has changed nothing for them.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
