Last night I had a “conversation” with a fellow Floridian about engaging our legislators on the upcoming bills, both good and bad. He was proud of doing tactical fishing and in the very near future he will be visiting  his Representative so he can explain his support for the good Gun Bills and his rejection for the bad ones hoping he will share his enthusiasm and vote accordingly.

Only one problem: His representative is in none of the committees and sub-committees where the bills have landed.  His vote will be crucial when the final version of the bill is brought to the full floor, but we don’t want the Bad Bills to go that far.

Florida 2020 – Lists of Committees, Legislators and Email Adresses

I made the effort to come up with a list of committees and its members because I know we have to target those members with visits, emails and phone calls. I also have a full list of legislators, but that gets to be used for the full vote.

Just a simple tip to improve your accuracy.
