Run. Nothing else.

This is also in Venezuela in the Western town of Cabudare. People were protesting, there may have been some attempt of looting (some say) but the security forces arrived and started shooting. The people ran.

Notice the body language of the officers: relaxed, nonchalant as if they were shopping or just taking a stroll. That is the Walk of Impunity. They know their actions will not have consequences.

An armed populace brings a heavy dose of consideration to those holding power. Not only there are consequences for misbehavior but they are painful and in some cases, final. And even if you are forced to follow orders, you sure as hell will take every care in the world to avoid being shot. Then the line between common sense and cowardice becomes blurred and easy to cross.

Fight to keep you Right to Keep and Bear Arms. It is the only thing that separates us from scenes like above.
