Voters in San Francisco have chosen to recall embattled District Attorney Chesa Boudin following a recall effort centered on his handling of rising crime across the city.
San Francisco voted to recall Boudin with 61%, compared to 39% who wanted him to stay as the district attorney, according to results at the time the Associated Press called the race.
Boudin was elected in 2019 with 50.8% of the vote and was sworn in as San Francisco’s 29th district attorney on Jan. 8 2020.

It seems they were expecting a tight vote and it was a shock when the results came out. The son of terrorists who managed to do more damage than mom and pop, is now on his way to private service bowing to keep fighting for the “restorative justice” that sunk his city even more while he was in office.
I am always amazed the level of bullshit they are willing to spread in order to maintain power. This is an article I found from March of the current when the recall efforts were in the works:
Mr. Boudin added that the recall campaign had exploited individual tragedies like the story of a Thai grandfather who was fatally attacked last year while taking his morning walk. He also pointed to an increase in media coverage of crime, and especially high-profile videos on social media of shoplifting cases — like one showing a man on a bike stealing from a Walgreens.
“And then people read the story, they see the video, and they perceive crime as being out of control,” Mr. Boudin said. “When in fact things like shoplifting are down dramatically. It doesn’t mean we don’t have a real problem with auto burglaries, but the notion that it’s out of control today and it wasn’t in 2019 is just demonstrably false.”
This is pure British Home Office strategy: If you stop enforcing the law against a crime, victims simply do not bother to call because they know you won’t give a shit. Thus new crimes will not be added to the statistics making you look good because the lying numbers prove you were “right” with your strategies.

You know we’re posting, not only about Commiefornia, but about San Freakshow, don’t you? At the current time, you’d have to go at least three states over to find “someone decent.”
The commie Chesa and others like him made the mistake of making the changes too fast. If they had slow walked these progressive policies over a few years, most folks would not have noticed. But when you go from “normal” (whatever that is), to “party on” – people looting stores at will, people being attacked for no reason in the street, and moms/babies being run over on walks, and the perps not being caught or not being prosecuted, you wake people up.

So now we (and the commie prosecutors) know where the line is with what people are going to accept. My guess is they are going to reset and come back with a bit lighter hand, and be progressive a bit slower next time.
I guess this proves that they can clean up some shit in SF. Maybe the sidewalks will be next.
