This is from the tropical gun control paradise of Venezuela. Bad guy was caught trying to rob a street vendor and somebody gave him a nasty whack a top of his head.
But a population tired of failing Law Enforcement, corrupt judges and without a recourse to defend themselves legally, decided to go Mob Justice with some combustible fluid and a lighter.

If the number of such videos on the Internet is any indication, beating, burning, or necklacing criminals is de rigueur in parts of Africa and Latin America, where the common people seem to have given up on ever having honest or efficient police, or decent government generally. Of course, man-bites-dog gets more play than dog-bites-man, so who knows?
For Venezuela, burning people alive is a very new thing. Mind you, they had no issue gang banging you with machetes till you were a human tartar steak, but this fire stuff is not he norm I grew up with.
Note to self: Do not attempt to rob a street vender in Venezuela.
Attempted murder notwithstanding, I have to congratulate those guys. Some people wish to light someone on fire. They actually did it.
