Apparently the memo about Gun Culture 2.0 being urban, multi-ethnic never got to the author. That or Florida with more than one million concealed weapons permit suddenly moved somewhere near Nebraska.
The whole reason behind this is because they’ve made it so hard to get guns cheaply, so the poorer segments of society (including underprivileged and minorities) are unable to find a weapon to defend themselves.

Is it sad that the first thing I noticed about the article was the guy in the picture was shooting a Colt AR15 with the 1970’s era M16A1 carbine variant upper (teardrop forward assist and rear sight adjustment drum) and topped with a 1970’s era Singlepoint scope on a weaver carry handle mount?
Yeah, the mag may be a modern P-Mag, but the gun itself can’t get any more “pre-ban” than that.
