Reminds me of the time my next older brother came home from college and told momma he didn’t have to mind her any longer, he was a grown man. If he hadn’t ducked in time, that full old style Coke bottle would have smashed his face in. He kept his stupid mouth shut, after that.
I’m willing to bet that belt had more work to do the minute it got home, lol.

Tough love is sometimes necessary, specially these days with so much commie b.s. (social media, public schools, most hollystupid movies & tv shows) vying for their attention and trying to convert them.
I learned quit not to sass back to my parents, grandparents & aunts/uncles after they tanned my hide a few times with chanclas for being a mouthy idiot kid. Fixed me right up. 😉
