Balkanize California, the political divisions tend to be geographic so give the Inland Empire and Nor Cal statehood while making LA and SF and their “woke” suburbs Bantustans.

West of the I-5/405 from Tijuana to Oregon is henceforth Shitholia, east of the I-5 to Nevada and AZ stays California.
If you put that on the ballot here, it would pass 90:10.

1) For starters, why not take your homeless drug addict/douchebags back?
Surveys of them have demonstrated it, and I see their SSNs in the E.D. to confirm the obvious: 90+% of the “homeless” were shipped here from the Other 47.
Take back your toothless, banjo-playing meth heads, and 90% of our problems in Califrutopia go back home where they belong.
2) Ventura & Topanga is deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep in the ‘burbs of rich whitebreadland, out on the furthest reaches of the San Fernando Valley; it’s not downtown Shitholia. As an area of L.A., compared to other parts, it’s under-policed, and overrun. It was bad enough that I left that area code 25 years ago for less-troubled areas of SoCal, and it’s only descended to all-out Tijuana/Beirut levels since then. I give it a few weeks before the locals start solving the problem under Rule .22.
It may be longer, but it’s still a matter of when, not if.
Shift the costs from ongoing perpetual welfare and criminal justice expenses, to a one-time pauper’s burial.
