Why are they shocked?
Bradley Manning admitted he didn’t like the military when he enlisted. He decided to stick it to the military from the inside because of personal greviences. He was a bad and unpopular soldier that decided airing the Army’s dirty laundry and putting our troops in harms way was great revenge for making him feel like shit.
So why are people that helped him out shocked that he’s a backstabbing shit-weasel?

Pvt Eddie Slovik did less than Manning and was shot for his crime “desertion in the face of the enemy”. We have forgotten that actions have consequences. This is why our political class/military leadership is so bad. None of them have ever been held accountable for their actions.
