The more I read about Flanagan, the more I am convinced he was not somebody with a long story of mental issues but somebody that created his own little world and decided to seek his own brand of justice for perceived injuries. He was a willful self-created sociopath who disregarded what you and me consider the proper norms of civilized behavior because his own needs were not fulfilled. Narcissism is no longer an occasional behavior but the normal behavior for many.
The problem arrives when the expected compensation does not arrive in a prompt manner of it at all. They get frustrated and these were people raised without the important teachings that life is a long chain of frustrations, small and big, that are there for us to overcome. Without the coping mechanisms that regular, well raised people were taught and with the “moral” backing of a group sharing the same principles, narcissists become destructive, sort of “If I Can’t Have It….” If we are lucky, they direct that anger to themselves via drugs, alcohol and posting crap in Twitter and Facebook. But I see Vester here as the next step of the Social Justice Warriors and assorted Whining Meemies: I have to do something! I’ll Burn It All!
So I fear that we may have a mass casualty event from somebody in the Opposition. They have wished us dead over and over and to me it is a question of when it will happen. It may be an attack at a local gun range or at the NRA Annual Meeting or any other type of gathering related to guns and the Second Amendment. Somebody will suddenly have an urge to “teach us a lesson” because we do not acquiesce to their “needs.”

I’m with you 100%. I watched a few people I knew turn SJW in college. It us a radical ideology that exists to seek out racism, bigotry, homophobia, sexism, and hatred in ever word and glance. Saying something like “look at those dark clouds, rain is coming” will set one off. I was attacked by former friends for doing research in medical implants to help people who suffered limb trauma to walk again because to an SJW that was ableist and discriminatory against handicapped culture. Seriously.
The other part of the SJW ideology is to make “oppressors” pay for every one of their most petty microagressions. It can be summed up “I’m offended, now you must suffer.” And suffer you will, usually from an online mob of other shrieking hysterical SJWs. Businesses and careers have been distroyed by SJW public shaming attacks on social media. SJWs are the ISIS of the left wing grievance industry.
I know the day would come when a hardened SJW would go from attacking people on twitter to attacking people with a gun. Hopefully this case will lead to more people standing up yo SJWs as bat poop crazy histrionic nut jobs.

Having had a chance to read some of this idiots 26 pages I think this guy was a product of the liberal victims mentality. Everyone is out to get you because you are this color or you are that, while life is hard and not fair by the liberal teaching life is harder for you because your a victim oppressed by ( fill in the blank ) the tyrant ruining your life or you are obviously not being treated fairly because of your choose of life style. The liberal mentality has turned these people, not by mental disease but by training to be paranoid in how they live their lives.

A NRA convention and/or a gun range is not the place to start shooting people. Somebody might shoot back.
Depending on laws of whatever state the convention is in, maybe; as for gun ranges and gun shows, not so much. A fair amount of effort is expended to ensure no firearms at gun shows are capable of firing, and on the show floor at NRA and SHOT, none of the displayed firearms have firing pins.
Many gun ranges and gun clubs ban loaded firearms except for the ones in use on the firing line, and even then it’s “unloaded and actions open” when not actually being fired. Not to mention shooters are facing downrange with hearing reduced through plugs and muffs, and almost completely unaware of what’s going on in the safe area behind them.
Seems like an argument in favor of the buddy system to me, assuming there’s no patrolling, armed RSO.

I’d take it a step further. Every mass shooter should get some sort of name related to feces to both accurately describe their status as a human waste product and to deprive them of unearned glory.
They won’t do a mass shooting, because that would require touching a gun. A backpack with a pressure cooker, however…
Don’t bet on it. There’s nothing a leftard won’t stoop to, because “the ends justify the means”. They can justify anything- literally ANYTHING- as long as it advances their cause. Want just one small example? Ask why the Democrats are so busy protesting the “War on Women” (which evidently means making women pay for their own birth control) … but haven’t said a word about actual enslavement of women in ISIS territory, or gender-based infanticide (not abortions, actual infanticide) in China. So yeah, I could easily see some Brady Bunch type going all Dylan Kliebold on a NRA convention… because the end of getting guns banned justify the means of actually using one, and to them our political stances mean we have it coming anyway.
