A New York man pleaded guilty Thursday to making death threats against two senators for supporting Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh’s confirmation last year.
Ronald DeRisi faces up to 10 years in prison for the threats and agreed to give up two rifles as part of his plea.
Authorities say they recovered more than 10 threatening voicemail messages DeRisi left on the unnamed senators’ office lines in September and October.

Ronnie has had issues before. In 2011 he was picked up in two felony counts of tampering and criminal mischief for cutting the cables of a nearby cell phone tower which he thought were devaluing his property. His action caused $100,000 in damages. I am guessing he was never found guilty of a felony because he still owned at least two rifles at the time of his sentence for the treats. The irony? He was tracked because he used his cell phone to call in the threats.
