Armed robbery at a Houston taco shop
Houston police said an armed man in a mask came inside the restaurant, demanding money and wallets from customers. However, as he was leaving, one of those customers shot the suspect.

I have not found a newsfeed where the cops said the vermin was leaving. I have to believe that this was added by the idiots in the news (specifically the on-location Talking Head) to elicit animosity against the citizen that took care of an ongoing threatening individual. The video clearly shows the now-morgue-fridge-temperature individual pointing the gun at one customer in the top left corner of the video. You have to be some dedicated pro-criminal LEO to say the guy was no longer a threat.
And no, the fact the gun ended up being a replica or bb gun affects nothing the concept of a defensive shooting.
A clearly righteous defensive gun use – unless you are a Houston leftist. Given the well-known degree of corruption and incompetence in the Houston PD and the equally well-known progressive position of the DA I would argue that the defensive pistolero chose the correct and reasonable action following the gunfight: pick up and return everybody’s belongings then vamos. HPD will eventually arrive and start looking for someone to arrest.
I made this comment after watching the video clip attached to my friend Miguel’s post. I have looked briefly and still have not see a longer clip showing a head shot with the perp already down as claimed by several. Until I see -and HEAR – that, my comment stands.

Im surprised the talking heads didn’t stress over and over that “it wasnt a real gun”…anyone who thinks Americans shouldn’t have the right to self defense should be sent to nyc or chitown for a weekend…
Using the “reasonable man” view, if it looks like a real gun, ya don’t need to wait for the bullets.
