Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. What happens if Bubba and Thor are moving to Ninjaboi at a somewhat rapid pace? What if they stand off at 25′ and shoot?

Note also that those aren’t exactly deep, and if Ninjaboi was able to actually get the knife into a moving target, Bubba and Thor would be able to give those knives right back in proper fashion.

And life isn’t like the movies/ video games. You don’t get an edit where the knife is suddenly hilt deep in the person, and he’s insta-killed.

  2. “My blades-o-death are better than your gun because they’re harder to use and I can’t carry as many projectiles.” Check

Thanks, I prefer the Indiana Jones approach.

I also have to wonder how many blades went into the grass, other trees, bounced off hilt-first, etc., before he got those two to stick.

  3. Also, I’m gonna call probable bullshit. Most throwing knives I’ve seen are double-edged, and in fact usually fully symmetric, which these knives aren’t. Also, typically a single edged blade will be thrown with the sharp edge leading, not trailing, in the spin, therefore pointing down when the knife sticks in the target if thrown overhand. That helps the initial cut. These look like they were thrown underhand. Or stuck in by hand.

Not impossible that magic Mark did throw these, but I’d need to see a complete unedited video, not a still, to believe it.

    1. You made a good point. I’ve seen and done some knife throwing for sport. I’ve been wanting to go to one of those axe throwing places that has just opened up in town.

All those throws are at set distances because it takes so many feet for the knife or axe to rotate in the air and strike edge or point first. If you are off from that distance, you hit with another part of the tool and it bounces off.

I would guess that a really, really good thrower can adjust their throw to compensate for variations in distance, but not a great deal and not on the fly with great accuracy.

Using knife throwing as a defensive weapon would mean that it is most likely the thrown knife would not hit point first and just sort of hurt a little but not be in any way incapacitating.

Sure, I might have to Kentucky windage it a little bit with my handgun, but from 0 to 25 yards, that is only a couple of inches wither way and I know my bullets will always hit point first.

  4. A lightly trained rifleman can hit him at 15 times the range.

And who is the coward? The masked mob that attacks individuals, or the people who state their beliefs unmasked?

  5. I carry a gun not to kill, I carry a gun to stop the threat. This guy, however, just broadcasted his apparent desire and abilities to kill on social media.

Also, imagine this guy is being attacked, throws the first of his two knives, hits the meth’d up attacker in the belly. Attacker pulls knife out, charges the guy, who in a panic, throws and misses the second knife. Attacker overpowers and starts stabbing the guy, beginning a messy, protracted death with the very weapon the guy thought would save him.

  6. I figure he walked up to the stump and jammed the knives in by hand.

He also got pwned by a guy who opined that “knives are for little bitches that can’t use their fists” and the dunce walked right into it.

  7. I bet you his katana can cut through any European blade design with ease too but it’s too deadly too easily so he opts for the skill intensive cold steel sword that straps to the arm.

I actually met a guy like this in person when buying shotshells at Walmart. Apparently that made him comfortable enough to reveal the 4 concealed throwing knives he had to me.

  8. While knife throwing is fun and relaxing, in any kind of defense scenario, I am going to have to go with misusing the old, “One in the hand is worth two in Bubba.”

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
