Mean dad photoshops daughter into dangerous situations to frighten grandma.

Stephen Crowley is a mean man. To scare his daughter’s grandmother, the fearmonger has been photoshopping images of his daughter in perilous situations, such as sitting alongside a lit stove, knife in hand, or balancing precariously on a thin beam over water. It’s a cruel trick, if only because the dude is so good at Photoshop that the images look shockingly real.

I saw this particular photoshop and wondered how overprotective we may have become since I was a kid. What it is now called a “dangerous situation” it used to be called “going out on Sunday afternoon.”

Stay in the fight, Be prepared.

Officer Jacob Schwenk did just so.

Schwenk approached the vehicle to talk to the suspect and as he got near, Quinn exited the car and pulled out a 9mm handgun and began firing, McGee said. Schwenk was shot six times — once in the chest and five times in the legs — and fell to the ground in a seated position. Schwenk managed to return fire at Quinn, hitting him six times — including twice in the face — killing him, McGee said. The whole incident lasted about ten seconds, according to David. Schwenk then radioed to dispatch that there was an officer down and emergency crews quickly responded to the scene. McGee said fellow Leland Police Officer Charles McGee applied a tourniquet to Schwenk’s leg which was a critical step in saving his life after his femoral artery was damaged. “That was instrumental in saving Officer Schwenk’s life,” McGee said. “Officer Schwenk, who he himself was a former EMT, talked Officer McGee through the process of applying the tourniquet…slowing the bleeding.”

And a bit more info on the condition of the attacker:

Investigators found that Quinn fired six shots at the officer, one hitting Schwenk’s bullet-proof vest, and the five others striking the officer in the legs. Schwenk’s returning fire struck Quinn six times — twice in the head — killing him.

I am not clear who had the tourniquet, but at least somebody did and a life was saved.

Officer Schwenk was shot in the chest, the vest stopped it but it still hurts like a bastard, he got shot in the legs and you know that hurts too. Yet he remained in the fight because otherwise I do believe the shooter would have finished him off.

Short of a shot going inside the cranium or hitting the spinal cord, you can go on fighting till your blood supply stops feeding the brain. Training to shoot as accurately as possible under stress and pain, knowing what to do to stop the hemorrhage and have the tools at had made the difference and a good man is alive because of it.

Hat Tip to Stevie A.

WE. WILL. WIN.

Too many holes in the dike, not enough paid “moms” to block the rush of Freedom seeping through the dam.

Well done Iowa, well done.

Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad has signed a wide-ranging gun bill into law that includes a stand-your-ground provision.Branstad signed the legislation Thursday. Portions of the bill go into effect immediately though most will be enforced starting July 1.

Well Paid Moms Demand and their New York Pimp may have screwed with Florida this year, but they simply don’t have the membership they claim to have. Instead of killing SYG, one more state joins the ranks of Common Sense Self Defense.

And as frustrated as you may feel (And I am damned frustrated) never forget ours is a war of attrition.

Always Vote Guns.

PS: I like the “Common Sense Self Defense” thing. We may need to use the heck out of it.

White House wants to reduce the size of the Executive.

On March 13th, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order that will make the Federal government more efficient, effective, and accountable to you, the American people. This Executive Order directs the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to present the President with a plan that recommends ways to reorganize the executive branch and eliminate unnecessary agencies.
Reorganizing the Executive Branch: We Need Your Input!

Do you even need to ask? The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was my first choice. Since you are required to add another office, I chose TSA but dedicated the explanation part to why the ATF needs to be eliminated. Add more agencies as you wish, but let’s make ATF the target.

The Volstead Act has been repealed since 1933, it is time that the revenoers of the ATF follow suit.

Go click on the link and let the White House know we want it gone.
