  1. “In a country where the sole employer is the State, opposition means death by slow starvation: The old principle: who does not work shall not eat, has been replaced by a new one: who does not obey shall not eat.” — Leon Trotsky, 1937 (quoted by Henry Hazlitt in “The wisdom of Henry Hazlitt”)

  2. We can be thankful that in this country, such a top-down, government mandated vaccine / health / goodthink passport system as has been suggested in some countries could never actually become reality. Maybe some big buisnesses might band together with a fully voluntary system, but it won’t be forced by the government and most likely a lot of small buisnesses won’t care too much.

On an entierly unrelated note, has anyone else noticed how miserable the last year-and-counting has been for small buisnesses ? I wonder what’s going on with that.

    1. I think you’re being far too optimistic. It’s quite clear that the top down thing is in the works and will be imposed. The only open question is what will happen next.

    2. Wrong. I attended an all-hands this morning with my “priceless” employer who announced that the percentage of employees voluntarily disclosing their vax status was too low. He finished with “don’t make me force mandatory vaccinations – I can do that in the US & Canada.” He said it because he knows he can do it.
I am now shopping work and hoping I can find someplace with a different policy.

  3. I was going to share this image vis fb and discovered that I had a 30 day ban. I was banned for posting the image of Mao, Hitler and Stalin giving the thumbs up to biden’s press secretary saying that they were going to have fun block posts spreading ‘misinformation’.
    Lol! The irony is overwhelming
