When it comes to holsters, we are always playing the compromise game. We fight between the level of retention versus the speed of access and we make choices in lifestyle accordingly.

But if you know damn well and in advance you are going to a spot that will more than likely end up in a physical confrontation, the lest you can do is make sure your weapon is securely holstered or that it won’t run away from you and land in the hands of others.

And all of the sudden, lanyards are no longer stupid.

  1. Lanyards never were stupid. They just tend to snag on things – but that problem can be mitigated when carrying concealed by choosing an elastic lanyard that coils up and out of the way.

  2. It’s always fun to capture a 10 year minimum federal felony on video as it happens.

Finders keepers is not a legal transfer.

Yes, this dipshit lost his gun, but the guy to took it stole it.

I hope he goes to prison for the full 10 years.

      1. The feds look down on stolen guns. Even local PD isn’t a fan of that because they end up in the hands of criminals.

Had he looted some shoes, everyone would look the other way. Steal a gun is a little more high priority.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
