Night of the Long Knives, in German history, purge of Nazi leaders by Adolf Hitler on June 30, 1934. Fearing that the paramilitary SA had become too powerful, Hitler ordered his elite SS guards to murder the organization’s leaders, including Ernst Röhm. Also killed that night were hundreds of other perceived opponents of Hitler.
This was a very dumb move by Antifa. They want to burn the hand that has been feeding them.
Ernst Röhm and his buddies were getting too big for their britches after they did all the nastiness against Jews and political opponents do Hitler could consolidate power. He thought he was going to be seated to the right of the throne, but instead he got executed for hi troubles and the S.A disbanded.
We are about to enter very interesting times.
I predict Antifa will win. The cops don’t care enough anymore and Antifa are combat veterans with honed tactics. The cops, unlike the SS, can’t do “what needs to be done.” Until I see riot police shoot through plywood and trashcan shields with ARs after molotov cocktails are thrown, my money is on the mob.
There are two cases.
1. Cops deployed somewhere, especially to protect the politicians that hate them. In that case, FIDO is the likely outcome.
2. Cops near their home, friends, and loved ones. In that case, gloves will come off and the mob will litter the pavement.
