In taking the fish from the fisherman’s wife by force, he committed battery and robbery. Robbery is a forcible felony. Force, including deadly force, can be used to stop the imminent commission of a forcible felony. I likely would not have shot him, but pepper spray would certainly be likely. and yes, I would spray his ass right in front of his kids.
There were at least 4 activists there, including two kids. This sort of foolishness is typical of the left- they bring violence to the table any time someone doesn’t do what they want. The only way it will stop is if they find out that violence begets a violent response.
