No dear readers, it is not The Onion. The Two Hours of Hate (AKA The Parkland Town Hall), a fantastic political PR job for the Democrats, the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Broward County School Board has received what was supposed to be a prestigious award for… chicanery?

Former Sheriff Scott Israel lying his ass off during the Parkland Townhall..

If the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission official report had not come out yet, I would understand (not accept) that they would give away this handjob in form of award. But knowing what actually happened, how the star of the show, Sheriff Scott Israel sat there and praised his deputies when he already knew the rampant cowardice among his responders and still have the balls not only to accept but to proudly announce they are getting awarded for a monumental News Fraud?

  1. “Shameless”

Plus completely and utterly pathetic. The idjits working for the CommieNewsNetwork must really enjoy having no soul or morals and passing that on to their offspring.

    1. As I mentioned on J.Kb’s post about this, the CommieNewsNetwork single-handedly devalued the worth of the Cronkite Award to that of a 2-week-old pile of cat turds. They must be proud.

  2. When Cronkite died I wrote this:

“It is utterly fitting that two of the men responsible in great measure for losing the war in Vietnam died within weeks of each other. Robert McNamara, who died on July 6, was a man I loathed and despised with all my heart. He was the direct cause of the unnecessary deaths of so many American service men and women in Vietnam because of his cowardly and mendacious advice for the prosecution of that war. (Par for the course for Democrats.) The other, Walter Cronkite, died today [July 17, 2009]. Although he will be lionized by the self-serving state-run media, let there be no doubt that his reporting — and remember that there were no alternatives other than two networks and newspapers back then — was key to our defeat in Vietnam. I have nothing further to add.”

  3. What Universal Spectator said, plus 10.

So I find the name of the award to be quite appropriate. Walter Cronkite was a scum-sucking bilgewater-drinking anti-american bunghole who took the real news and spun it for his own personal agenda, which wasn’t support of the United States.

Dan Rather learned from him, learned very well from him.
