   2. There’s quite a lot more stuff in the AR-15 folder. On the other hand, the AR-10 folder has a STEP format model alongside the SolidWorks one. STEP is an open format. Good thing, because the AR-10 .SLDASM file crashes the Solidworks document viewer. Oops.

   2. Looks like a bug (assuming absence of malice). I just looked at the 1911 file and it’s just a zip archive full of .sldprt and .sldasm files, with a few .jpg files thrown in for good measure.
      Those files are SolidWorks design files. I installed the viewer (free from the app store) and opened them, they are fine. The viewer documentation specifically says that the Mac version won’t open executable files, so that supports the notion that the antivirus program is wrong.

Some years ago, Ladd Everitt, formerly of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence stated that he saw nothing wrong with a judge ordering the mass incarceration of people based on some legalese BS pretty much using that excuse. He in fact dismissed the internment of Japanese and Nisei in WWII by saying they were able to redress the injustice.

      Just because it has a legal stamp, doe not mean we are supposed to wait and let the court decide in our favor when it is a clear violation of settled cases and law.

      If you can download and print the Improvised Munitions Handbook and it is PROTECTED, tho Liberator blueprints are in the same category of protection.
