This woman is Zephyr Teachout. She is a Constitutional Law Professor at Fordham University and a graduate of Duke University law school.
This right here makes me want to make sure my lawyer never went to Duke or Fordham.
Nothing that she says has anything to do with the law, it’s just a bunch of far Left talking points.
“The idea that people are illegal…”
“The idea that we should see immigrants as a national security threat…”
She is running for, in her own words “one of the top law enforcement jobs in the country” (because the whole country is New York) doesn’t get the idea of illegal immigration or the threat that drug cartels, traffickers, and terrorists pose to the US.
She even seems to have a problem with the very ideas of Homeland Security, i.e., we shouldn’t have to protect the homeland, and that the Executive branch enforces Federal law.
She’s running for Attorney General on the promise that she will fight the Federal goverment to make it easier for people to break the law and to make the nation more dangerous.
This woman is even crazier than Cynthia Nixon.
It must be something in the water up that way. Maybe the Parkland bus tour will get up there so they can drink from that fountain too. I’m sure they will find it enlightening!

One simple question- maam do you lock your house doors at night when you are home?
So are we yet to the point where good, lawful people can now start suing or criminally charging people like this women as accessories to crimes commited by illegals? How much more blatant can they get in their self admitted aid of lawlessness?
This looney tried to steal the nomination away from Cuomo last time around here in NY and did surprisingly well. I’m not sure if that’s a testament to how for left NYC Democrats are or the fact that Cuomo isn’t all that popular. But I digress.
Who’s she going to get to arrest ICE Agents? The New York State Police? Aside from the fact that they wouldn’t have the authority to do so, even most of the NYSP hate Cuomo and the NYC Democrats like Teachout. Though there are some repugnant ass-kissers in the ranks who would arrest their own mothers if ordered to do so, perhaps them? What happens when armed Federal Law Enforcement Officers decide they don’t want to be falsely arrested for doing the job they have legal authority to do?
Trooper: “You’re under arrest! AG Teachout has issued arrest warrants for ICE Agents and Officers!”
ICE Agent: “If you touch me, I’ll arrest you for assaulting a Federal Officer. Take a hike, moron.”
It reminds me of the dilemma of the Iran-Iraq war: exactly WHO do you want to lose? Me, I’d buy lots popcorn. Make sure to have plenty for the conscientious LEO, bailing from NY, , and the feds who bag it in order to let the vultures pick it over.
