2 thoughts. The NRA doesn’t sell firearms, nor do they profit from the sale of firearms. So everyone saying that this helps the NRA is just a load of BS. Second, I don’t know that the NRA helped in any conceivable manner with the Kyle Rittenhouse defense. I don’t recall getting any emails, letters, etc. from them (yes, I’m a member only because the local gun range/club requires it). I would think if they helped they’d be blasting it from the rooftops.
Of course, if I were Kyle’s lawyer and the NRA offered to help, I’d probably tell them to go pound sand. Accepting help from the NRA would be a public relations nightmare and potentially bias the jury.
