At least is what they say:

Let me see if I get this right: You are planning to invade th subway. You are planning on cramming yourselves up in a restricted areas with very few exits (which means few ways to escape) and easy to block and destroy public property.

Now, this would be an easy “kill” if the NYPD had a ballsy chief and a normal Mayor. But I believe DeBlasio is gonna pull a Baltimore and “give them space” to break stuff.

Me? I would let them get down there, close selected entrances and stations while leaving others open under tight PD control, kill all the electricity down there and let them figure out what to do next.

I think there was something about rats trapped in overcrowded conditions….

  1. Of course the Governor of NY is declaring a state of emergency….

Oh, that’s right, this isn’t a number of citizens, gathering peacefully to petition their government for redress of grievances, no this is a explicitly hostile statement of intent to do harm to people and property.

But, I think the skin color might be making a difference. No racist, NAZI wanna be white folks in this group, so it is all good.

    *Sarcasm*

  2. Part of their goals are to sabotage the subway system? This will end up as a mass casualty event. Some idiot will start a fire in the subway tunnel, and it will be ugly. Smoke inhalation in a tunnel is a miserable way to die. People are hurt and die in “normal” underground fires.

Felony murder charges against the organizers if anyone dies?

  3. I bet those hourly workers who need the subway to get to work are going to be thrilled that the subway was shut down. It’s not like their bosses are going to give them time off because of a protest.

    1. I predict another “Sod Off Swampy” event, where the Brave Warriors of Social Justice are given an educational beat down by the people, and go on to whine and moan about it.

  4. Maybe it’s because of the balaclavas, but I’m not seeing very many Lenape among this group that wants to “decolonize” Manhattan…

  5. If the NYPD gets their cojones back from “Fredo” Cuomo, this could be entertaining.
Better stock up on popcorn and beer.

  6. One obvious technique is to tell the train operators not to stop if the station is occupied. Standing on the platform while trains go flying by will get old quickly. Then all the police has to do is set up a cattle chute at the exits, allowing them to arrest the perps one by one as they leave.
Has anything come of all this posturing? A quick check of a few news sites suggests “nothing to speak of”.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
