One political movement in this country has made a habit over literally beating itself up to implicate their imagined enemies. It isn’t the conservatives.
Fake hate crime hoaxes are a constant feature at colleges, so much so they vastly outnumber any real incidents. it is something leftists are used to doing. On the other hand, on the few times when an unhinged conservative decides to kill somebody, they normally actually do it, or at least make a credible try, they dont pretend to kill dems, they do it.
Yes, and not only did not go off, but forensics is now telling us there was no way they could have gone off. That tends to rule out incompetence, and indicates the bombs were intended to be easily discovered fakes, to make the news, but not actually harm any of the dem targets.

I haven’t heard anything to make me think there was ever any intent to physically harm the recipients. I conclude that the real intent was informational: Either
1. false-flag attempt to smear the right. Entirely possible, but clumsy execution, as always.
2. reminding the leaders on the left that if they loose the blood tide, it will not stop at their doorsteps. Unfortunately, if this is the case, I seriously doubt said leaders will get the message. They never do.
I’m a little late to the party on this topic as I work swing, but here’s a random, half-formed thought that I can’t seem to get out of my head:
Obama (to gun control zealots in a WH meeting): “I just want you to know that we are working on it [gun control]. We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”
Shortly thereafter, ‘Fast and Furious’ gun-running comes to light.
H. Clinton: “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”
Shortly thereafter, buncha ‘bombs’ mailed to high profile lefties/Democrats.
