A few days ago in Spokane, Washington, a couple held a woman at gunpoint as she sat in her car. The reason? She apparently stole some shoes from a nearby store.
Video posted on Facebook shows the pair with guns out, holding the suspected shoplifter in her place until police could get there to handle things.
The man can be heard telling the woman to sit down, and then throws out a strange statement.
“Get your (expletive) in there and sit down,” the man said. “I am not a cop, I will (expletive) shoot you. I’m a Democrat. I can shoot you because Democrats get away with everything.”
I am not going to rehash about the stupidity of playing Law Enforcement, that is not the point I will make, but just for kicks I will repeat the famous advice given by Jim Cirillo:
”You are not sworn to endanger your life to apprehend a dangerous criminal, nor you are paid to do it.”
And with that out of the way, this is the nasty issue to address:
Neither the man nor the woman with a gun were charged or cited with a crime, according to police.
So he was right after all.
Doesn’t that make your day? But I bet you already had a nagging suspicion that it was the case and has been for a while.
Of course, if the shoplifter had a different skin tone and with the prevailing winds we are having….
Too bad the victim wasn’t armed, since what she experienced was clearly a threat justifying deadly force.
I think my skin crawled fully off of my body on this one.
You know its funny, you constantly see “the libs” saying things like step up, speak out, interfere, and stop when you see things going down. This is exactly the sort of thing you get with that request.

Spokane also explains the reason why he thinks that as a Democrat, he can get away with murder.
