Try to imagine for a moment what it would be like if American police were all disarmed. 4/5 of them would probably quit outright, the remaining percent would likely be murdered.
The more sadistic part of me hopes that Minneapolis will elect this idiot, and actually go through with this stupid stupid plan, so that a lesson will be learned.
Sadly, as every other Democratic People’s Republic demonstrates, they can’t learn from their mistakes.
Honestly, given the history of the Minneapolis PD, I think it’s a good idea.
Once upon a time in some places in the west, Law enforcement was thin on the ground due to remote locations, or part of a corrupt political system. People eventually got tired of being robbed or paying protection money. Citizens committees of public safety were formed. After a few well known bad guys were found swinging from improved gallows, the level of crime dropped markedly.
Not advocating extra-legal activity, but sometimes vigilantes happen.
