Kentucky appears to be stuck with dumb and dumber This November.

Our less-than-official correspondent up North in the South, Bluegrass Bruce ain’t happy.

It looks like Kentucky gun owners are left without a good option this November

Although we are balanced down here, I wouldn’t mind Senator Nelson to finally call it quits. Problem is GOP is being a weakling douche and the Libertarian Party is as exotic as a Ninja albino Lobster that speaks creole.

  1. The answer is organize and get the vote out for your candidate in the PRIMARY and the endorsing conventions. By the time we get to the actual elections, we are stuck with the choices others have made. Mitch is a “hold your nose and vote” choice.

I am sick of saying it to so many, but “If you didn’t vote, then don’t whine after it’s done.”

  2. We have the same issue in NH. The choices are deservedly F-rated incumbent Jeanne Shaheen, deservedly F-rated challenger Scott Brown, both of whom play the, “I support the 2A, but…” shtick, and some Libertarian no-hoper.

NRA is running ads for Brown. Bloomberg is running ads for Shaheen. Even though there’s not an iota of difference between them on gun policy: checks, registration, bans, confiscation, they’re all-in. Probably for the same reason I’m going to hold my nose and vote for Brown — the one possible pro-gun vote he will cast will be for someone other than Harry Reid as majority leader. Shaheen is in Reid’s pocket.

Apart from that, they’re both lousy from a 2A point of view. I have not even tried to persuade anybody to vote for Brown, let alone erected a sign or given a donation; he’s not worth it.
