    1. My thoughts exactly. I have a bunch of various wrenches, one of which is a HUGE pipe wrench that has been ideal for loosening some VERY stubborn bolts.

I guess it also would make an effective, but clumsy weapon, so for that I have guns.

Interestingly while wrenches are awesome on bolts, they suck at opening packages and letters, for that I reach for the pocket knife I always carry….that’s another tool I bought.

What’s their fucking point? I almost wonder if gun banners even have opposable thumbs.

        1. That’s their whole point, they don’t want to consider them tools because that would imply that guns aren’t inherently evil or something, but that it depends on the user (imagine that!).

It’s not even like we’re saying that guns aren’t weapons (they are), but that weapons are a kind of tool. They’re just being childish as usual.

          1. All weapons are a form of tools.

And like any tool, they only augment the user’s capabilities. Owning a hammer does not make you an expert carpenter, nor does it give you a sudden desire to build things. It only makes it easier to drive nails into wood.

    1. First, they’d have to find a monkey to use it.(Bloomberg maybe?) Then They’d have to get a government grant to buy it. And if the monkey hurt himself of someone else with the wrench, they’d have to ban all monkeys with wrenches.
