Violence Policy Center’s War on Women.

And which myth are they referring to? That an armed woman has a better chance to survive an attack? Is that a myth?

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – Police are hoping someone can help identify two home invaders. They were caught on camera as a woman in the house shot at them.”She exercised her right to defend her livelihood and property,” Cpl. Deon Washington with the Gwinnett County Police Department told Channel 2’s Nicole Carr.

That is an awesome lady. I loved to see the faces of the Critters sporting beautiful shades of sheer panic when she starts to unload on them. One of them died with that expression.

VPC’s real message is: “Women, you are too feeble and stupid to defend yourself. Join our cause. Send money.”

I say: “Women, save your money for a good gun and good training. Screw Gun Control.”

  1. 93% are killed by someone they know.

Isn’t that true about all murders, regardless of gender?
And, isn’t the definition of “someone they know” so broad that is pretty much encompasses the entire human race? (OK, exaggerating, but I had read once, not sure where, that if you were killed by your cab driver it counts as “someone you know” because you are involved in a business relationship with that person.)

Gotta give it to Shannon though. Her marketing chops are pretty top notch. If I did not know, better, I would think that 93% of women killed are killed by men they are dating or married to. Wonderful how omitting a few words makes all the difference.
