Sunday Pre-Eclipse Funny

Wherever the path of the eclipse, hotels, motels, camping places and whatever free space is being occupied by people going batshit about it. I have family in Middle Tennessee and they say that the last time they had these many assholes from out-of-town, they were wearing blue uniforms.

When I lived in Northern Michigan, the locals had a turn of phrase for those traipsing through their towns and lives: “fudgies”. Not a term of endearment. It alluded to the fact that the transients seemed to think that Up North rose and set upon Mackinac Island Fudge, and it’s homologues.
