Rosie O’Donnell let loose on Twitter.
This is somewhat par for the course on Twitter now days.
There is, of course, a Trump for Prison Twitter.
The Daily Kos published Impeach and Imprison fan fiction about Trump.
In all of this, what I haven’t seen is anyone actually pointing to a single statute or law that was broken or any evidence of criminality.
The FBI investigation has still got nothing.
The reality is, it has nothing to do with any law broken. What Donald Trump did to warrant imprisonment, and to some, the imprisonment of his whole family, is that he challenged Hillary Clinton and the Left.
We know how much progressive celebrities loved Hugo Chavez. The Left never found a dictator they didn’t admire (until it became unpopular to admire them).
This is what the progressives want in America, the right to purge opponents. They’ve never been so blase about it before.
Maxine Waters has become a hero to the Left for sing every opportunity in front of a microphone to call for Trump to be impeached and jailed.
For what? She’s not specific, but that doesn’t matter. It’s not about breaking the law, it’s about being a successful opponent to their aims.
Back in 2014, when pushing the SAFE Act, NY Governor Cuomo said the Conservatives were not welcome in New York.
You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican party candidates are running against the SAFE Act – it was voted for by moderate Republicanswho run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.
The other day, Nancy Pelosi said the same thing about California.
This is how every socialist and banana republic maintained their power, by expelling or jailing their opposition.
This is junta tactics. Jail the opponent. Expel the supporters of the opposition party. One party rule by force.
This is the Banana States of America in the making. It needs to stop.
