Another senseless train death. We must do something!

This train is more dangerous than my “assault weapon.”

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a man has been hit and killed by a high-speed train in Florida.

The Delray Beach Police Department announced on Twitter that a pedestrian was hit Sunday by a northbound Brightline train about 100 feet (30 meters) south of a crossing. The pedestrian died at the scene, police say, adding they are seeking any witnesses.

Authorities say the pedestrian was the fourth person struck and killed by a high-speed train since service began between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach earlier this year. Three others were hit and survived.

In the meantime, my Evil Black Rifle has yet again failed to kill anybody. Hell, any of my guns have not killed anything but paper.

Maybe there is a gun manufacturer’s conspiracy after all.

  1. Limit “Hi Speed Capacity” trains to 3 mph. Require universal background checks to ride the train. Hire homeless folks to walk in front of the train with a flag or lantern and an air horn to warn people on the tracks (and wake up the bums sleeping on the trains) before the train arrives. Yeah that’ll work.
