Aren’t internships supposed to be free slave labor in return for experience you can put on your resume`? (“I was a sucker and worked my butt off for free. Just think how much more I’ll do if you pay me.”)

Hmm. I wouldn’t need much money, but I don’t think they’d take me on account of I’m a straight, white male, and “ginger” isn’t recognized as colored anymore.
Not bad, actually, seeing as how minimum wagers now make $15/hr. But I’m sure they won’t make *that* much, cuz Progress and all that.
