Dr Fauxci was doing his rounds on TV yesterday and the latest is that the CDC is considering re-instating the mask mandates for everybody included those vaccinated.
So there is an apparent rise in people infected because of the Delta variant, but by the urgency/not panic tone of the reports, it is not as horrendous as they wish it would be to generate ratings/clickbaits/subscriptions. And ten you read this:

There’s also a risk that fully vaccinated people will spread the disease to the unvaccinated, including to children who aren’t yet eligible for the jab. That’s why, despite being fully vaccinated, people may want to take extra precautions by wearing a mask indoors or in crowded areas.
We are back again to the exercise and keeping of power, not epidemiology. Children (provided they are normal healthy individuals) are the safest group from Covid problems, but yet they are bought out and used as props for purely political BS. It is social engineering by the Powers That Be who want to see us as Dancing Chickens tap dancing over a hot plate.
A small percentage of those unvaccinated will be sick enough to die because of the choice they made. Sorry but I don’t see how that should affect me into having to wear a mask. ‘You pays your money and you takes your chances’ the saying goes and the same way we have people who respected and left to me my decision to vaccinate, I do the same for those who did not take the shot. Both groups will have to live with their decision and I am tired of a few DC assholes constantly moving goalposts and trying to play with the country like it was a huge Barbie Pandemic set.
According to worldometer the us has had 35,199,465 infections and 626,762 deaths.
The American counsel on science and health posted about a study on asymptomatic cases finding 3 times as many asymptomatic cases as symptomatic. If true, then multiplying 35 million times 4 gives us 140,797,860 cases. 626k deaths means a 99.6% survival rate.

And yet, the normal yearly death rate change is statistically insignificant.
There hasn’t been 600,000 deaths from chinaflu.

That is what we call in the rational world an “unanswered question.’ And, unanswered questions are where the investigation starts, not a conclusion. Deciding to implement increased restrictions because something “might” happen is ridiculous.
If they want to get the slowing vaccination rate down to almost zero, the best way to do it is to infer that the vaccines are useless by demanding mask wearing for everyone.
