So, the “suicidal” shooter(who decided that laws don’t apply to him, i.e. a criminal) goes on a spree(not the shopping kind) in a “gun free zone”(how’d he get the gun into the GFZ? Oh, yeah, he didn’t care it was a GFZ), shot up the place, got 8, including only 1 person who could have finished it long before(got shot, probably because the shooter expected it, or hesitated due to our litigious society). Now if there were more concealed weapon carriers at the facility there could have been only 1 death instead of 9…think about it…if it was more acceptable to be armed, to defend oneself and others, all these “mass shootings” wouldn’t happen as often and the body count would be far less….why would you want to hit a “hard target” that may resist you? Gun Free Zones are “easy targets”. No one will resist, think about that. Those 8 people, their blood is on every anti-Second Amendment activists/politicians hands.
Well it’s after noon, the shooter’s name has not been released, and it’s no longer the top news story–even in local media…

Yep. The quickest way to stop a gunman is with a gun, the second quickest way is by calling 911 and getting the word out.
Both very useful tools were not allowed in the area.

These public mass shootings are always always always*:
1. A prohibited person
2. Carrying without a permit
3. In a gun free zone
4. Intent on committing a crime much more serious than #1-3
5. Who immediately stops upon meeting armed resistance
The faster the situation gets to #5, the lower the body count, but people like Shannon Watts and Diane Feinstein want to make damn sure that you have to wait for a government employee to show up before #5 happens.
