Christchurch shooting: multiple fatalities after mass shooting at two mosques – live updates
The shooter uploaded the video and I got a chance to see it. Weapons: Semi auto shotgun (9 rounds and dumped it) and 2 AR-15 pattern rifles; first one went crap on him, he returned to his car parked to the side of the mosque, grabbed the other and returned back inside. Multiple reloads. It looked like there were a couple of incendiary devices in the vehicle, but he did not use them.
I do hope I am wrong, but the casualties are well over thirty. Shooter took the time to try to give everybody a coup de grace.
From first shot to last shot: 5 minutes and 30 seconds. No contact with police, he just drove away.
Holy shit, that was one cold mother fucker and he needs to be taken out.
Please, don’t forget to carry at you place of worship, specially the next couple of weeks. There is always one asshole copycat trying to catch the limelight.
PS: The recommended tactic of “rushing the shooter” was used. It did not bode well for the rusher.
PS 2: New Zealand is pretty much one big Gun Free Zone if I am not mistaken.
Update: I just heard that two mosques were attacked and four people arrested. There is a story behind this which does not fit the norm.
Update: My fear about the number of dead has been confirmed: Toll now is 49.
Also, found an alleged copy of the manifesto. If anything, it seems to confirm Nazis and Socialists do belong in the same fascist shopping cart.
In his manifesto he claims to want to pressure the US to abolish the 2nd Amendment in order to start a civil war. The other thing I noticed from the video was how he basically was moving and acting like he was playing a first person shooter, not like he was trained in CQB tactics.

I’ve seen a few snippets of the shooter’s manifesto floating around the internet, and it looks like he just wanted to spark conflict. Just spark conflict. He identified as an eco-fascist who most admired the People’s Republic of China, and yet he basically wanted to spark a racial holy war and balkanize the USA over the second amendment.
And it’s probably going to work, to some degree. Tomorrow morning, I’m going to wake up and see this guy used as a crowbar in debates about immigration and gun control.
Makes you pine for the days of “We do that, because that’s what the terrorists want”, doesn’t it?

I went over to Fox News earlier, and saw a headline suggesting this was a racist attack. You know, because Islam is a “race”. Now I remember why I disregarded Fox a while back as a bullshit news source.
Anyway, from the snippets I’m seeing here, it’s utterly bizarre to me that someone on the other side of the planet would be concerned with the U.S. and the second amendment. Of course, the Maoist (Democrat) party will try to seize on this to push for gun control here, but from the sound of it, New Zealand is already well ahead of us in this area and it didn’t do any good.

Just read that the 2nd mosque had a good guy with a gun that sent the scumbag cowards running BUT I DO NOT know this is absolutely true ! I hope so…..
I read that initially, but later I read the good guy rushed the attacker and got his long gun. There were to dead in the second location apparently… info is still not all in.
