I used to live 60 miles from Hudson WI on the western side of Minneapolis-St.Paul. In High school, we used to drive those 60 miles to Huson and drink and dance in the Wisconsin bars where 18 was legal. We were too cool for Old Style and Special Export. They also had fireworks for sale in the Summer. Ice hookers were not a major problem. Drunk 18 yo women were not a problem either.
