This one I admit is weird. I was sitting in the living room with the missus when I heard a weir scratching-like noise on the door, something like you see in horror movies. I pulled out the phone and opened the surveillance cam app, but saw nothing. I went to check anyway and the only thing I saw was a box from amazon that had been delivered. I still was curious so I rewound and saw Mr. Snapping Turtle coming over to di his Jehovah Witness thing. We have a nice colony of turtles in the lake so I am guessing one of them went adventurous.
It has to be Florida where you get critters knocking on your door.
My doorbell went off one day and the camera showed no one there. So I watched the video and one of those huge grasshoppers comes slowly into the field of view and crosses going bottom to top.
Too bad it was out of focus from being so close. I could have edited it into a giant radioactive bug movie from the ’50s.
I have that issue with lizards and spiders… I hate them
