I keep talking about O’Sullivan’s law and the US Military.
John O’Sullivan is a conservative British journalist and a speechwriter for Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
He coined a political law, known as O’Sullivan’s First Law, which states:
“All organizations that are not actually right-wing will over time become left-wing.”
Lawrence B. Wilkerson is a retired United States Army Colonel and former chief of staff to United States Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Four years ago he was on the Bill Maher show to explain that civilians didn’t need high capacity magazines and all sorts of those kinds of weapons.
Another interview with him on the Bill Maher show from earlier this year makes it clear why he believes that (sorry for the video quality, it was the only one I could find),
I’m wondering if he is pulling a Toobin while saying this, just masturbating to the fantasy of the US military gunning down Trump supporters.
This is why he wants to keep high capacity magazines and assault rifles out of the hands of civilians, to make it easier to kill them for supporting Trump when the President speaks out against the Democrats monkey-fucking with the election results.
He is a retired US Army Colonel and he hates you. He hates Trump. He hates you for supporting Trump. He wants to kill you for supporting Trump and so he wants to take your guns away to make it easier for his troops to do just that.
I know there are many members of our military who are honest patriots.
The military Brass who work in the Swamp are not that at all.
We have protected rights to keep and bear arms to defend ourselves from ass-hats like this ass and those on that panel. Not to hunt. Not to confront criminals whom may or may not come to our homes.
When will any one get this concept.
We are people of liberty, not collective wonder brushes who blame everyone and everything for their own problems and the actions of one person.

So he and others understand: humans are multiply complex and simple.
I have sat with individuals and group sizes of many cultures. Only one culture scares the life out of me. Not because their ideology or there politics are different/opposite of mine, it is because they hate to the depth of their core. You can see it in their eyes. It sears through you. They work, smile, eat and yes drink, with you. It is all pasty actions. They are told and taught and understand that they act “good” for the long game. When they are honest, usually under the influence, they tell you they “are to kill you or die trying, it is honorable and transient to arrive either way”.

Not all veterans are honest people or people with respect for the oath they swore and the Constitution they promised to defend against all enemies foreign and domestic. Some are explicitly traitorous. One example is Jack Auchincloss, newly elected in MA to replace Joe Kennedy (who unsuccessfully ran to unseat fellow communist Markey from his senate seat). He claims to be a former Marine captain, but he actually goes out saying concealed carry should be outlawed. And no, he does NOT propose to replace it by open carry.
$10 says he supports the legalization of recreational drugs.
It wouldn’t surprise me, but his website doesn’t speak of that topic at all. He has plenty of other “squad” type positions, though.
Note that MA already “legalized” weed a couple of years ago. They set up a big bureaucracy to divide the spoils, and after a year or two of muddling around those set up a variety of weed stores in various places. Probably complete with kickbacks to all the politicians — so far nothing has been reported but that would be the norm.
He had a solider email his superior threatening to shoot a fellow soldier in the back if they ever get into combat? And he did what about it? I call BS. What kind of idiot would make an admission like that, especially to an officer? They would be bound to yank you from duty and submit you to evaluation, at least, and probably given a medical discharge.
Anyway, I bet they are HOPING that Trump will “call up the gun owners” to try and start violence. All it would take is a handful of people responding, and a few people getting killed, and bang there’s your excuse to ban semi auto rifles. And probably a bunch of other stuff. “See, we told you these gun nuts were dangerous!”
