One thing I have never understood is why or how abortion is considered a “reproductive right.” Admittedly I am a man (at least for today), but if one is interested in preventing conception there are numerous, effective, convenient and relatively inexpensive methods available. There is even a Plan B pill if one forgets to utilize preventative methods. Using abortion as birth control strikes me as unnecessary, potentially dangerous for the mother, even in a clinical setting, and of course fatal for the baby. But then what do I know, as previously stated I am a man.

   Remember, Scalia died. Ginsburg was expected to retire. If she retired in the last 6 months of Obama’s term, everyone knew that there was a slim to zero chance Obama would be successful naming a successor.

   Seriously, this is a joke. If Ginsburg retired in Hillary’s first term, everyone in the media would dismiss any claim that she stayed on to give Hillary a chance to name her replacement. Ginsburg could publicly announce that she stayed on the bench longer for that very reason, and no one would bother writing a critical article about it.
