The Biden Administration went after the Border Patrol who were the subjects of a viral video using horses to corral illegal immigrants.
First he announced that Border Patrol would not be allowed to use horses, then he said there would be an investigation and accountability.
The Administration seemed to buy and repeated the lie that Border Patrol was using whips or lashing the immigrants.
This was purposeful.
Trump learned that government employees were practically unfireable.
The Biden Administration would love nothing more than to fire CBP, but knows he can’t.
So just like what he has done with the military, he’s subjecting Border Patrol to public humiliation and morale crushing orders that will cause those who want to do a good job or are not ideologically aligned with his Administration to quit or just stop trying.
Border Patrol who twiddle their thumbs and let tens of thousands of illegals across will get in far less trouble than those who try to enforce our laws.
Military officers who drone strike children based on Taliban provided intel get into far less trouble than those who ask on social media why we abandoned Americans in Afghanistan.
The cartels have figured this out and are going to use it against us.

Border Patrol will back down from obvious drug or human smuggling because the Administration will crack down harder on Border Patrol for a viral video of them using force to stop smugglers than if smugglers get through.

And my answer is the same as it was for the entire Afghanistan debacle: It is being done this way on purpose. It must be; there’s no other explanation.
If the Biden Administration were merely incompetent, they’d do a lot of things wrong, but they’d do some things right. It’d be more or less random.
But that’s not the case, not by a long shot. The Biden Administration at every turn chooses the most damaging or destructive option. Every. Single. Time.
On top of that, Biden’s “solutions” often go far further in scope than the “problem”. Taking the CBP “horse reins” issue: If swinging the reins at people were a problem, Biden could have prohibited that. He could have prohibited reins long enough to swing, ordering the minimum necessary length to control the horse. Instead, he banned the use of horses completely, even over terrain impassable by motorized vehicles. The over-broad scope of the “solution” is not tailored to the “problem”. And I believe that’s also done that way on purpose.
Per Hanlon’s Razor, none of this can be adequately explained by random chance, nor by incompetence or stupidity. The only other option is malice.
My other question is: who is pulling the strings and calling the shots on all this? Because you KNOW it’s not Gropey Joe.
